Bass Sketch Postcard
Bass Sketch Postcard
Here’s an amazing chance for you to buy a piece of original art for only $50! They are not created yet; I will create one for you when you place the order. I am selling 12 beautiful pencil sketches in the form of postcards which I have not created yet, each one will be $50, and ALL of the money will go towards paying off the money we still owe on my son’s beautiful upright bass. (I currently still owe $600.)
We bought this instrument from Robert Tice, Luthier in Sciota, PA almost two years ago. It is a Kay bass built in 1943. Obviously, it had some wear and tear and scars from its long life, but we had it fixed up and it now plays beautifully. I’m so grateful that Morgan has this instrument. Among other things, Morgan (age 14) is in the jazz band, orchestra, and chamber strings at Easton Area High School.
If you purchase this, I will mail a postcard to you (or someone else if you request that,) and you will be surprised by what drawing you get. Each one will be different, but the motif will always be Morgan playing the bass, in the style of some of my other pencil sketches. I will write a personal note on the back of each postcard.
Not only will you get a piece of original art, but also the satisfaction of knowing you are supporting a budding young musician. Thank you!
